Must go to island summer and spring. The land side is a natural reserve so walking will be limited to the shore. It's known for its migrating birds that can be seen from May till late August. Beautiful for swimming and snorkeling. Some do scuba diving too. One hour from Salmiyah. more details about Kuwait on my page @barandbahar

A flat desert island in The Gulf that can be walked around in 30 minutes. Popular with Birdwatchers and Divers. No facilities or shade whatsoever, but does have quiet sandy beaches.

June 16, 2023 when we went here. This was one of the hottest month here in Kuwait and I thought it will be so hot there but I was wrong. It wasn’t humid, the weather is good but still use sunscreen to not get more tan. It took us 70 minutes to get to the island from the port. (Boat have 2 engines) And 90 minutes going back due to high waves. It’s a pretty small island. It will take less than 20 minutes to walk around the island. It’s good to visit here at least once.
